How to Join

Membership of The Folklore Society is by subscription to our journal Folklore, published by Taylor & Francis/Informa, in 4 issues per year.  Individual and Household Members of The Folklore Society receive for their annual subscription:

Access to the Members Only area of our website for the following resources:

  • Promo Codes for members’ discounts on Eventbrite tickets for our talks and events
  • link to freely access tandfonline.com archive of Folklore from 1890 to the most recent issue and our earlier titles Folklore Record (1878-1882) and Folklore Journal (1883-1888)
  • link to freely access selected folklore journals in JStor.org’s online archive, including all back numbers of Folklore except for the most recent 5 years, and the following journals:
